Message from Said Modak
" Assalamu Alaikum" from the new Education Committee headed by Said Modak and Assistants Hajirah Parkar, Mujib Parkar & Volunteer Zuleika Tambe. I would like to thank the outgoing team for all their efforts over the last term and ask that Allah (swt) accept and reward their efforts. We have inherited a good structure from the previous team and look forward to building on this over the coming term. We currently have 36 girls and 18 boys registered at the Madrassa. However attendances on the boys’ side are variable. I would urge parents to ensure maximum attendance which is vital to their children’s progress. Parents consultation meeting to be held regularly for parents to check progress of children & discuss any underlying issues or concerns.
Insha’Allah in the near future we are planning on running separate classes for men & women on Rites of Janazah, Salaat, and Reading Quran with correct Tajweed and even computer classes. We would appreciate if members could come forward and express their interest with the education team.
If you have children and would like to enrol them to KCL Maktab please get in touch with any of the education team. The cost for members is £15 per child and if you have 3 children attending the 3rd child gets free admission.
There are 31 Girls and 18 boys on register attending Madrasa.
Also if you have close friends that are looking for Madrassa please refer them to the education team. The cost for non-members whether they are Kokni or non Kokni is £20 per child with 3rd & subsequent children £10 per child. The age of the child should be 5 and we run Madrassa on Friday 5.45pm – 7.30pm Saturday & Sunday 10am -12pm
Women’s classes will be organised by Zaibunnisa Parkar.
The Education Team in office Insha’Allah for the next 4 years are:
